Description
After reading Michelle Sauner’s “Crying in H Mart” Crying in H Mart.pdf and Trevor Noah’s “Chameleon” trevor-noah-chameleon.pdf from Born A Crime, you will choose ONE template from Chapter 7 of TSIS “So What? Who Cares?” and use it to make a case for which reading from this assigned pair presents the most compelling Literacy Narrative and then write a 250 word Post supporting, explaining, and exploring why you feel the way you do. To help with this post, review the M1 Essay Prompt and Rubric posted to the assignment M1 Essay (Literacy Narrative)

Work posted by the DUE DATE the due date & time of 11:59pm and during the GRACE PERIOD (8 am Tuesday) is on time. But remember if you are working towards the Bonus at the end of the semester you work must be submitted by the DUE DATE. Word Counts are 4 = 300 + ; 3 = 250; 2 = 200; 1 = 150; 0 = 100 -. STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS :
1 You will copy out of TSIS the template as it stands, or how you needed to modify it to fit your posts, placing the words of the template and modifications in YELLOW HIGHLIGHTER. At the end of the template, place the SECTION and PAGE that you found it on, and continue your post.
2 Your template can be at the beginning, middle, or end of your post, but you must have a template from TSIS in your post in some way.
3 How you draft your short argument is up you, as is the content of the argument itself that is important and how you analyze the reading.
4 At the end of your post you will place the total word count of your post in parenthesis. NOTE: you can find a running word count in the bottom right of the screen as you type.
5 You will not be able to see anyone’s posts until you post your own work.
6 You are welcome to reply and have a conversation about the posts that are made and you can upvote posts you particularly like. Spend time reading the work posted by your classmates, since their vision of these readings and the way they frame their posts may help you find an idea for your M1 Essay or help fuel our discussion in class on Tuesday.
I have a sample below based on “A Quick Note on Getting Better at Difficult Things” by Ta-Nehisi Coates from Class 02 as a reference.
