Assignment 2 You are to search for two different job postings that you are interested in and you are to share the link of where you found this position. This could be a future position that maybe later on in the future when you are licensed for example. You are to then write a summary of what you like about it, what concerns you have, what special training or education you may require and anything else that you may feel relevant to share.

I will give you an example. I found this position on DAS CT. I love this site. I hope it is on your rotation when job seeking. It is a clinical Social Worker Position at Department of Corrections. I think the salary is competitive and I like the benefit package. I like that they have a video that tells me I am going to receive an 8 week training program. The idea that I am going to be adequately trained is really compelling to me. As a lifelong learner, I love a good training more than most. I am concerned that the video is frequently mentioning that I will not be harmed. This seems like information one may not share unless this was a potential risk. I am concerned that there is such an extreme effort to recruit. It makes me wonder what the current staffing ratio is and if I will be able to meet my professional expectation if the DOC is chronically short staffed.
